Description

We present results on the determination of first-order phase transitions (FOPTs) in neutron stars (NSs) that are consistent with current astrophysical observations within both general relativity (GR) and modified gravity theories (MG These FOPT are obtained using equations of state (EoSs) derived from recent calculations of neutron-rich matter at low densities, constrained by experimental nucleon–nucleon scattering data. These EoSs are extended to high densities using interpolation techniques and imposing constraints from nuclear experiments (PREX-II and CREX), perturbative QCD (pQCD) limits, and FOPT for densities n>2.5ns, motivated by theoretical and experimental studies of quark condensates.
