Selected participants will receive accommodation at the on-campus student residence, Vila Universitària UAB, in shared 2-person apartments.
Accommodation will be provided from July 5 (check-in) to July 15 (check-out).
Please note that no additional per diem will be offered, and meals are not included.
- Check-in: Room should be available after 2pm. Go to the front desk and collect your room keys and information. If arriving after 6pm on Sun, July 5, you will receive your keys from security personnel at the front desk.
- Check out time is 12pm on July 15.

The best option to arrive from the BCN airport, is to first take the Aerobus to Barcelona-Plaça Catalunya; once there take the FGC train (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya), lines S2 to the station of Bellaterra.
Aerobus tickets can be bought online (https://aerobusbarcelona.es/?lang=en) or at the bus, cost 7,45 € (one way) or 12,85 € (two way). It takes 20min (no traffic), 30min (normal traffic) or 45mins (heavy jams).
FGC train tickets can be bought at the station. Ticked "Bitllet senzill" lets you travel once, and costs 2,65 € for "Zona 1". "Zona 1" (1 zone) is enough to travel between UAB and downtown Barcelona. Ticket "T-casual 1 Zona" lets you travel 10 times within 1 zone, and costs 12,55 €, and can be used also for bus, metro, renfe, in Downtown Barcelona. Once you arrive to Bellaterra FGC, walk 8mins until Vila Universitaria UAB. Then go to the check in desk.
Vila’s front desk: Monday to Friday, 24 hours. On weekends and holidays you will find the 24-hour security staff.
From Vila UAB to ICE:
Use internal UAB bus (free). Check routes/timetables: https://appbuses.accessibilitat-transports.uab.cat/
Use intercity bus (line E3), which is not free.
Apartment Amenities
The shared apartment comes with two beds, a private bathroom, and a fully equipped office kitchen. The apartment is equipped with bed linen, towels and kitchenware.

Please note that meals are not included, except for the School dinner, which will probably happen on Thursday July 9 (to be confirmed), and coffee breaks.
There are two supermarkets nearby, one in la Vila (5min walk) and another one (a bit larger) near the Bellaterra FGC station (10min walk).
