Description

We are pleased to announce the upcoming workshop “Advances in Precision Temperature Sensing for Space Missions”, which will take place at the Institute of Space Sciences (ICE‑CSIC) near Barcelona on April 14–15, 2026.

This focused meeting will bring together researchers, industrial partners, and space agencies working on high‑precision thermal measurement technologies and their application to current and future space missions. The workshop will highlight recent progress in ultra‑stable thermometry, photonic sensors, micro‑kelvin precision diagnostics, and the challenges associated with on‑ground testing of next‑generation thermal sensing systems.

The event aims to provide a forum for discussing the state of the art, identifying key challenges, and exploring new opportunities for innovation in temperature sensing—an enabling technology for missions requiring unprecedented stability and accuracy.

We look forward to welcoming you in Barcelona for this dedicated workshop.
