DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce the upcoming workshop “Advances i
n Precision Temperature Sensing for Space Missions”\, which will take p
lace at the Institute of Space Sciences (ICE‑CSIC) near Barcelona on
April 14–15\, 2026.\nThis focused meeting will bring together researche
rs\, industrial partners\, and space agencies working on high‑precision
thermal measurement technologies and their application to current and fut
ure space missions. The workshop will highlight recent progress in ultra
 ‑stable thermometry\, photonic sensors\, micro‑kelvin precision diag
nostics\, and the challenges associated with on‑ground testing of next
‑generation thermal sensing systems.\nThe event aims to provide a forum
for discussing the state of the art\, identifying key challenges\, and exp
loring new opportunities for innovation in temperature sensing—an enabli
ng technology for missions requiring unprecedented stability and accuracy.
\nWe look forward to welcoming you in Barcelona for this dedicated worksho
